Section 16(1) in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Act, 1971
(1)The Director of Research and the Director of Extension Education shall be whole-time salaried officers of the University and shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Board, subject to such terms and conditions as may be prescribed.
