Section 254(1)(a) in The Maharashtra Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samitis Act, 1961

(a)include within, or exclude from, any District, any local area [or amalgamate two or more Districts into one District or divide any District or Districts into two or more Districts] [These words were inserted by Maharashtra 7 of 1967, Section 7(a).] or otherwise alter the limits of any Districts; or
