Section 11(1) in Jammu and Kashmir Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2014
(1)The Police or the Juvenile or Child Welfare Officer shall apprehend the juvenile only in cases of his alleged involvement in serious offences entailing a punishment of 7 years or more imprisonment for adults.
