Section 4(1)(f) in University Grants Commission Regulations On Curbing The Menace Of Ragging In Higher Educational Institutions, 2009.

(f)"District Level Anti-Ragging Committee" means the Committee, headed by the District Magistrate, constituted by the State Government, for the control and elimination of ragging in institutions within the jurisdiction of the district.
