Section 21(4) in The Tamil Nadu Building and Construction Workers (Conditions of Employment and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1984
(4)If it appears to the Inspector that the use of any work or any part of the machinery or plant involves imminent danger to human life or safety, he may serve on the employer an order in writing prohibiting its use until it has been properly repaired or shared.
