Section 1 in The Tamil Nadu Prize Schemes (Prohibition) Act, 1979
1. Short title, extent commencement.—
(1)This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Prize Schemes (Prohibition) Act, 1979.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu.(3)It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 13th October 1979.
