Section 6(xxxix) in The Jalandhar Municipal Corporation Building Bye-Laws, 1997
(xxxix)Minimum Ceiling Height of Rooms: means every habitable room in any building shall be in every part atleast 9' in height from the floor to the underside of the roof slab or ceiling except where the building is to be air-conditioned the minimum ceiling height shall be 8' in every part.
