Section 194(2)(b) in U.P. Revenue Code, 2006

(b)[is less than the reserve price or the amount of arrears specified in the sale proclamation] [Substituted 'is less than the amount of arrears specified in the sale proclamation' by U.P. Act No. 4 of 2016, dated 11.3.2016.], then the Collector shall report the matter to the Commissioner, who may confirm the sale or may pass such order as he thinks fit.
