UPON hearing counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
Upon perusal of all these cases, we find that all these petitions have been filed at an interlocutory stage. The petitions filed on the same subject matter are still pending before the learned Single Judge of the Kerala High Court and we have been informed that those petitions are to be heard on 18.09.2014.
In our opinion, it would be just and proper if the learned Single Judge continues to hear the matters and counter affidavit and rejoinder affidavit, if any, in the said petitions are filed on or before 16.09.2014 and 17.09.2014 respectively.
Looking at the facts of the case, we direct that status quo shall be maintained till 30.09.2014 so that, by that time, the learned Single Judge can take a final decision in the pending petitions.
4
In view of the above observations and directions, the Special Leave Petitions are disposed of.
The learned senior counsel appearing for both the sides have assured this Court that their counterparts in the High Court shall extend their full cooperation, without seeking undue adjournments, so that the learned Single Judge can decide the matters at an early date.
