677. Special Constabulary Reserve. [§ 12, Act V, 1861].
- The West Bengal Police Special Constabulary Reserve is established under section 2 of the Police Act, 1861, may be called upon to assist the regular police force in case of necessity in the maintenance of law and order and the prevention of sabotage.The rules for this Reserve which have been framed under section 12 of the said Act will be found in Appendix XXXVII.
