Section 3(1) in The Safeguard Measures (Quantitative Restrictions) Rules, 2012
(1)The Central Government shall, by notification in the Official Gazette, designate an officer not below the rank of Additional Director General of Foreign Trade as an Authorised officer for making investigation for the purpose of this rules.
