(1)Any reference to a Panchayat contained in a law, rule, by law, regulation, [notification] [Inserted by Act 7 of 1995.] scheme, from or order, in force in the State at the commencement of this Act shall be deemed to be a reference to a Village Panchayat as constituted or reconstituted under this Act.
