(2)In addition to the functions of the Board under sub-section (1), an Authority or Commission may undertake such other functions as the Government may assign and in so doing the Authority or Commission shall be deemed to be fulfilling the purposes of this Act, and the provisions of this Act shall apply to the Board and the Authority or Commission in respect of such functions.
