Section 3(2)(g) in U.P. Board of Secondary Sanskrit Education (Appointment and Conditions of Service of Heads of Institution, Teachers and other employees of the Institutions Rules, 2009

(g)A headmaster of Prathama or Purva Madhyama, as the case may be is not found fit for promotion as headmaster or Principal of the upgraded institution shall be retained as an assistant teacher on the highest post for which he is qualified, provided that his pay-scale shall not be reduced.
