Section 215(1) in The Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats And Industrial Townships Act, 1965
(1)A Council may, with the sanction of the Director, demarcate and notify the limits of the water-shed of any lake, tank, well or reservoir from which water is derived for the municipal water work or use by the residents of the municipal area.
