Section 7 in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities Act, 2008

7. The Vice-Chancellor.

(1)The Vice-Chancellor shall be the whole-time officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Chancellor in the manner specified in the Schedule-I.
(2)The term of office, emoluments and other conditions of service, the powers and functions of the Vice-Chancellor shall be as specified in the Schedule-I.
