Section 3(1) in Kerala Promotion of Tree Growth in Non-Forest Areas Act, 2005
(1)Every owner of non-forest land shall be free to plant trees in his land, as may be appropriate and generally contribute to the increase of tree cover in his land, in addition to any crop he may have grown over such land.
