Section 31(5) in The Merchant Shipping (Cargo Ship Construction And Survey) Rules, 1974
(5)On receipt of an application for survey and the survey fee, the officer receiving it shall deliver to the applicant an official receipt for the fees so paid and an intimation that the application is received.
