Section 11(2) in The Tamil Nadu Abolition of Posts of Part-Time Village Officers Act, 1981
(2)Nothing contained in sub-section (1) shall affect any criminal proceedings (including investigation, trial, appeal or revision) against part-time Village Officers in respect of any offence falling under the Indian Penal Code (Central Act XLV of 1860) or under any other criminal law and accordingly all such criminal proceedings shall be instituted or continued.
