Section 1 in The Registration Act, 1977 (1920 A.D.)
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Registration Act, 1977.(2)It extends to the whole of Jammu and Kashmir State. It shall come into force on the 1st day of Baisakh, 1978.
