(2)The minimum height of all rooms used for human habitation shall be 2.75 metres measured from the surface of the floor to the lowest point of the ceiling (bottom of slab). In case of air conditioned rooms a height of not less than 2.5 metres measured from the surface of the floor to lowest point of air conditioning duct or false ceiling shall be provided. Where beams are provided, the minimum head room shall be 2.4. metres.
