Section 8 in The Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986
8. Offences to be cognizable and bailable
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), an offence punishable under this Act shall be bailable.(2)An offence punishable under this Act shall be cognizable.
