Section 40(3) in The Dibrugarh University Act, 1965
(3)The First Vice-Chancellor shall within three months or within such a longer period not exceeding six months, as the State Government by notification direct from the date of coming into force of the first Statutes, the first Ordinances and the first Regulations cause arrangements to be made for constituting the first Court, the first Executive Council, the first Academic Council, the first Post-Graduate Board and the first Under-Graduate Board in accordance with the first Regulations.
