SHRI RAMDAS ATHAWALE (PANDHARPUR): Madam, I beg to move for leave to introduce a Bill to provide for reservation of vacancies for the members of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in posts and services under the control of the Government of India or of a State and in all statutory authorities and autonomous bodies receiving monies from the Government of India or of a State and for providing punishment for violation of reservation policy and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
MR. CHAIRMAN: The question is:
"That leave be granted to introduce a Bill to provide for reservation of vacancies for the members of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in posts and services under the control of the Government of India or of a State and in all statutory authorities and autonomous bodies receiving monies from the Government of India or of a State and for providing punishment for violation of reservation policy and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto."
The motion was adopted.
