Section 8 in Uttar Pradesh State Emblem (Prohibition of Improper Use) Act, 2019

8. Previous sanction for prosecution.

- No prosecution for any offence punishable under this Act shall be instituted, except with the previous sanction of the State Government or of any officer authorised in this behalf by general or special order of the State Government.
