Section 14(3) in THE NATIONAL ANTI-DOPING ACT, 2022
(3)The Agency shall be headed by an officer designated as the Director General to be appointed by the Central Government:Provided that the Director General appointed prior to the commencement of this Act and holding the office as such, shall be deemed to have been appointed as the Director General under this Act.
