(2)The menial duties shall, whenever possible, be performed by the female prisoners and the refuse, &c., placed outside the enclosure, to be removed by male convicts. If there are no females of suitable caste for conservancy work, specially selected male convicts-sweepers shall be taken into the enclosure in charge of a warder and under the conditions laid down in paragraph 264. Convicts so admitted shall not be (allowed) to go out of the sight of warder or to hold any communication by word or gesture with the females.
