(3)The joints in any insulating material as aforesaid shall be either-(i)overlapped by not less than eight centimetres; or(ii)butted with a covering butt-strap of the same material and thickness not less than thirteen centimetres wide and overlapping the butt-joint equally by not less than six centimeters.
