Section 2(b) in U.P. Technical University Act, 2000
(b)"Existing college" means a college or an institution which imparts technical education and is run and maintained by a University established by or under the Uttar Pradesh State Universities Act, 1973 and includes a Faculty of such University imparting technical education;
