Section 2(h) in The Jammu and Kashmir Energy Conversation Act, 2011
(h)"energy" means any form of energy derived from fossil fuels, nuclear substances or materials, hydroelectricity and includes electrical energy or electricity generated from renewable sources of energy or bio-mass connected to the grid ;
