Section 26 in West Bengal Town and Country (Planning and Development) Act, 1979
26. Delegation.
-The [Kolkata] [Substituted by Section 5 of the West Bengal Capital City (Change of Name) Act, 2001 (West Bengal Act No. 18 of 2001) (w.r.e.f. 1.1.2001) for "Calcutta"] Metropolitan Development Authority may, by order in writing subject to such conditions as it may think fit to impose, delegate any of its powers, duties and functions under this or any other Act or any rule or regulation made thereunder to the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, Secretary or any other officer appointed under this Act.
