Section 316(1) in The City of Nagpur Corporation Act, 1948
(1)Whoever, without the consent of the owner or occupier or other person for the time being in charge affixes or causes to be affixed any poster, bill, notice, placard or other paper or means of advertisement against or upon any street, building, wall, tree, board, fence or pole or writes upon, soils, defaces or marks any such building, wall, tree, board, fence or pole with chalk or paint or in any other way whatsoever, shall be punishable with fine which may extend to twenty rupees.
