List of witnesses of accused .-The accused shall not be required to give to the prosecutor or Court a list of the witnesses whom he intends to call, but it shall rest with the accused alone to secure the attendance of any witness whose evidence is not contained in the summary [* * *] and for whose attendance the accused has not requested steps to be taken as provided by sub-rule (1) of rule 3.
