Section 10(5) in The M.P. Municipal Corporations (Appointment and Conditions of Service of Officers and Servants) Rules, 2000
(5)The Committee shall prepare a list of such persons who fulfil the conditions prescribed in sub-rule (3) and to whom the Committee considers to be suitable for promotion to the service. The list shall be sufficient to cover the anticipated vacancies on account of retirement and promotion during the course of one year from the date of preparation of select list.
