ORDER
% 16.12.2021 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a declaration that the Indian Coast Guard is an "Organised Group A Service" for the purpose of the benefit of Non-Functional upgradation granted vide Office Memorandum dated 24th April 2009 issued by the Department of Personnel and Training. Petitioner also seeks directions to the Respondents to consider the Petitioner for the grant of benefit provided in the OM dated 24th April 2009 from his respective due date of entitlement and release consequential benefits with arrears of pay thereof in a time bound manner.
Learned petitioner states that a similar writ petition being W.P.(C) No.13161/2019 titled ' Comdt. B.P.Singh & Ors. vs. Union of India & Anr.' is pending consideration before this Court.
