204. Power to make assessment and decide disputes.
(1)The Sub-Divisional Officer shall have power, subject to rules made under this Code, to assess all increase and reduction in land revenue which are required or permitted under this Chapter.(2)The Sub-Divisional Officer shall also have power to decide any dispute which may arise relating to the distribution of alluvial land among the various bhumiswamis claiming such land.Chapter-XVI Consolidation of Holdings
