Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that she and her daughter had been thrown away at the behest of the daughter-in-law who is the respondent no.7 and in spite of informing the police authorities, no steps have been taken. Petitioner prays for restoration of possession.

Learned advocate for the State is present. I have considered the representation so made before the appropriate authorities which include SP, Purba Medinipur, SDPO, Tamluk, Purba Medinipur and SDO, Tamluk, Purba Medinipur. The SDO, Tamluk, Purba Medinipur presumably is the 2 appropriate authority under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

         Having      regard    to     the    same,   if     any

representation     has    been      received    or   a    fresh

representation is furnished before the SDO, Tamluk, Purba Medinipur under the aforesaid provisions of law, the SDO, Tamluk, Purba Medinipur will consider the representation in respect of the prayer advanced by the petitioner.

Needless to State that this Court has not gone into the merits of the issue and the concerned authority will independently adjudicate the issue without being influenced by any observations made by this Court.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 15483 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
