It bears out from the statement of the counsel for the State as well as respondent No.6 that the latter has been awarded the President's medal for meritorious service as a teacher. The copy of the certificate issued is also received and placed on record. Having regard to the subsequent turn of events and the prior restraint sought through the writ petition, the writ petition is dismissed. Any action taken by the petitioner or anyone challenging the award will be pursued independently uninfluenced by the order of dismissal in this case.
