Section 22(2) in Andhra Pradesh Private Universities (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2016
(2)The Vice Chancellor shall be the Chairperson of the Board of Management:Provided that in the absence of the Vice Chancellor, the Chancellor may, at his discretion, nominate any other member of the Governing Body to be the Chairperson of the Board of Management.
