Section 6(5)(b) in U.P. Zila Panchayat Officers (Central Transferable Cadre) Retirement Benefit Rules, 2001

(b)An officer may at any time cancel a nomination by sending a notice in writing to the appropriate authority mentioned in sub-rule (7) below, provided that the officer shall, along with such notice, send a fresh nomination made in accordance with these rules.
