SHRI ANUBHAV MOHANTY : Sir, thank you so much for giving me this opportunity to speak during Zero Hour. I must salute you for the patience that you are having, and there is so much to learn from you, as a young parliamentarian.
India recently celebrated its 72nd Independence Day with great fanfare, but unfortunately the people of Kendrapara, Odisha, which is my Parliamentary Constituency, have not seen a railway line or a railgari till now in Kendrapara in their lifetime. But now that dream is going to be fulfilled by the efforts of our beloved Chief Minister, Shri Naveen Patnaik, Sir, and with the cooperation of the hon. Railway Minister, Shri Piyush Goyal-ji. The railway line will be commissioned in Kendrapara by February, 2020 of which the Railway Minister and the senior officials had assured me during my informal meeting with them just a few days back.
Sir, I must thank our hon. Chief Minister and the hon. Railway Minister for this. But there is a small request at the same time, and it is very polite, earnest and humble, that if possible, instead of the goods train being commissioned, a passenger train may be commissioned, and thereafter, the goods train can also be commissioned simultaneously. Otherwise, once the goods train is commissioned, the required formalities for starting a passenger train may be completed as soon as possible and the passenger train can also be commissioned.
Sir, I can assure you that once the passenger train is commissioned taking Kendrapara, which is my Constituency, in the loop, the tourism of Kendrapara is going to progress by leaps and bounds because of its heritage, National Crocodile Park, the sea coasts and other places in Kendrapara, which are really so much attractive. Employment shall also be generated and new industries will come up.
So, through you, Sir, it is my earnest appeal to the hon. Railway Minister to kindly consider my request. महोदय, 72 सालोंकेबादकेन्द्रपाड़ाकेलोगजल्दीसेजल्दीरेलगाड़ीकोदेखसकेंऔरउसकीसुविधाएंपासकें । That is my sincere request as their representative. Thank you so much.
