Section 257(4)(a) in The M.P. Municipal Corporation Act, 1956

(a)No person shall without the written permission of the Commissioner bring into the city for sale the flesh of any animal intended for human consumption, which has been slaughtered at any slaughter house or place not maintained or licensed under this Act.
