Section 258(258) in The Railway Protection Force Rules, 1987
258.1General.- Whenever any person arrested under section 12 is handed over, orany property recovered under section 13 is given, to the Police, or any other reportrelating to an offence is lodged with them, an acknowledgement shall be taken by theconcerned member of the Force along with a true copy of the report recorded in the First information Book. The Post Commander shall subsequently monitor theprogress.
