Section 39F in The Maharashtra Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1963
39F. Casual vacancies.
Where a vacancy occurs on account of resignation, death or otherwise in the office of a member of the State Marketing Board, the vacancy shall be filled as soon as possible by nomination by the State Government of other person belonging to the category from which the former member was nominated, and the members so nominated shall hold office so long only as the member in whose place he is nominated would have held it if the vacancy had not occurred.
