(2)On the hearing of an application under sub-section (1), the [Chennai] [Substituted for the word 'Madras' by the City of Madras (Alteration of Name) Act, 1996 (Tamil Nadu Act 28 of 1996).] City Civil Court or the Court of the district judge may, summon and examine the owner and any person whose evidence appears to the Court necessary and may pass an order for the proper application of the endowment or any part thereof, and any such order may be executed as if it were a decree of a Civil Court.
