Section 2(26) in Bihar Agricultural University Act, 2010
(26)"Teacher" means a person not below the rank of Assistant Professor appointed or recognized by the University for the purpose of imparting instruction and/or conducting and guiding research and/or extension education programmes, and may include any other person who may be declared by the Statutes to be a teacher with minimum prescribed qualifications.
