Section 363(1) in Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976
(1)The Commissioner may, by public notice, prohibit the washing of clothes by washermen in the exercise of their calling, either within the city or outside the city within five kilometers of the boundary thereof except at,-(a)public wash-houses or places maintained or provided under section 362; or(b)such other places as he may appoint for the purpose.
