Section 19(3) in The Assam Agricultural University Act, 1968
(3)The Vice-Chancellor shall normally hold office for a term of five years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for one additional term of five years. The emoluments and other conditions of service of the Vice-Chancellor shall be such as may be determined by the Chancellor.Provided that no person shall hold the office of the Vice-Chancellor beyond the age of 65 years.
