Section 29(1) in The National Security Guard Rules, 1987
(1)Any person arrested under rule 27 may be released from arrest under the order of an officer :Provided that in case of a person placed under arrest by an officer, such person shall be released from arrest under the order of an officer superior to the officer ordering arrest.
