Section 4A(1) in Himachal Pradesh University Act, 1970
(1)Controller of Examinations:The Controller of Examinations shall be a whole time salaried officer of the University and he shall be appointed by the Executive Council on the recommendations of Selection Committee constituted for the purpose or by transfer of the incumbent of the office of the Registrar, on such terms and conditions, as may be prescribed by the Ordinances.
